AuctionHelper, Inc. is a software Company that creates auction
management tools developed to automate the time-consuming components
of the online auction process and allow sellers to increase their
efficiency and productivity. AuctionHelper's key strength is its
ability to allow average volume sellers to become high volume
sellers with the adoption of the Company's tools.
AuctionHelper differentiates itself from its competition by
creating tools based on years of experience with buying, selling,
packaging and shipping products via online auctions.
The Company is currently growing at a phenomenal pace both in
terms of revenues and new users. The Company has patents pending
with over 60 unique claims to its proprietary tools and technology
that assist sellers in the online auction management space.
Management
Brandon E. Marz, Consultant
Mr. Marz focuses on the
strategic and business development for the company. He has
been involved with several start-up companies. Previously
he was the CEO of an online incentive-based game site,
TheBiggestGameEver, Inc. (TBGE).
Subsequent to TBGE,
Mr. Marz worked as an associate in the business development
group of CheckOut.com, an online entertainment destination.
At CheckOut.com Mr. Marz was instrumentally involved with
several high profile online partnerships. Previous to
CheckOut.com, Mr. Marz was a financial analyst at Bank of
America in the entertainment and media corporate finance group.
Mr. Marz sits on the company's board of directors.
He received his Bachelors of Science and Business Administration
(BSBA) with a dual major in finance and marketing from the Olin
School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
Jerry Lynch, Co-founder/Chief Architect
Mr. Lynch is the Co-founder and Chief Architect of AuctionHelper.
He handles all of the day-to-day technical architecture for the
company's entire product suite. After developing AuctionHelper
for use with his own business on eBay, in 1997, many credit Mr.
Lynch with inventing online auction management.
Mr. Lynch has personally listed over 250,000 items on eBay
using AuctionHelper's tools. He has extensive experience
selling products via online auctions. In fact, Mr. Lynch
has been using AuctionHelper's tools to sell products via
eBay for over four years. He previously owned two retail
stores that operated large mail order and online auction
businesses.
Mr. Lynch is the chairman of the board of directors. He is
an experienced computer programmer specializing in database
architecture with expertise in HTML, JavaScript, Tango, SQL,
Networking and Database Administration.
Martin Anderson, VP Customer Service
Mr. Anderson oversees the company's customer support team.
He brings over 35 years of experience in the retail coin and
sports collectibles business. Mr. Anderson is the co-owner of
Conejo Coin and Stamp, the largest retail coin and stamp store
in the Conejo Valley. His responsibilities at Conejo Coin and
Stamp include estate purchasing, financing and accounting, and
business development.
Mr. Anderson is also the co-owner
of JLM Enterprises, a subsidiary of Conejo Coin and Stamp that
specializes in selling merchandise through online auction channels.
JLM has been selling items on eBay for over three years exclusively
using AuctionHelper's tool suite.
Mr. Anderson sits on the
company's board of directors. Mr. Anderson attended the University
of California Los Angeles (UCLA) from 1965 - 1969.
Additional Directors and Advisors
Laurence M. Brasler, Director
Mr. Brasler has been a buyer and seller of postage stamps
since the 1960's when he opened his first retail storefront
in the San Fernando Valley. He is now recognized nationally
as an expert in the field of philately. His formal education
includes an accounting background acquired from California State
University, Northridge (CSUN).
Mr. Brasler secured his
first public auctioneer's license in New York State in 1979 and
was a founder of Quality Auctions, Inc., a postage stamp auction
house. Currently, he is licensed in the State of California as
an auctioneer, a second hand dealer and a pawnbroker. Mr. Brasler
is one of the majority stockholder's in Conejo Valley Stamp and
Coin, Inc., where he has been employed for nearly 20 years.
He has been associated with AuctionHelper since the Company's
inception.
David Enzer, Advisory Board
David Enzer is an advisor on corporate finance and strategic
alliances to public and private companies. He formerly led
the Technology Investment Banking effort at EVEREN Securities.
During that time, EVEREN managed over $700MM of technology finance
and advisory transactions for clients, including 6 venture-backed
deals such as Software AG, Emultek, and Trillium Digital Systems.
Subsequent to EVEREN, he has acted as an advisor to companies
developing next generation digital media technologies and platforms
including: Kodak, in certain strategic ventures; Solid Streaming,
in connection with their venture financing and strategic alliance
efforts; ART, in connection with certain strategic alliance efforts;
and Sonic Foundry, where he managed their strategic development effort
including 3 acquisitions, 2 private placements, and strategic alliances
with major broadband media players such as Sony Pictures Digital
Entertainment, Warner Bros. and Entertaindom, Intel, PanAmSat, in
areas such as wireless media, video on demand, content management,
and digital cinema.
He has completed over $2B in transactions
over his career. Mr. Enzer graduated magna cum laude from UC
Berkeley Undergraduate Business School with emphasis in Accounting
and Real Estate where he was a Phi Beta Kappa and a Beta Gamma Sigma,
and as a cum laude from Hastings College of the Law with an emphasis i
n Taxation. He has passed the CPA exam and is an inactive member of
the California Bar.
Steven Nerayoff, Advisory Board
Mr. Nerayoff is a co-founder of three Silicon Valley companies: eWanted
(the Internet's first reverse auction site), FleetwoodOwen (the leading
entertainment memorabilia auction company), and ENSX (a consulting and
technical staffing company). Mr. Nerayoff has been instrumental in
raising over $50 million in equity financings for these companies and
others.
Previously, he was an attorney with Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe
LLP, an international law firm with more than 700 attorneys, where
he worked with a number of Internet companies, including AOL and
iVillage. His work at Orrick involved issues related to partnerships,
private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings.
Mr. Nerayoff holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting
from The American University, a law degree from Tulane School of Law
and attended New York University for a Master's of Law.
